What a nice surprise this was. Freight with mid DPU & Autorack with NC&Stl Emblem unit. We went up to Mentor Ohio this evening. We took Heisely Road and as we crossed over CSX on the overpass, looking down east towards Lubrizol, both sets of main tracks had Green signals. So we pulled down to the old Heisely Crossing and as soon as we pulled up towards the tracks before the guardrail, a headlight for one of the 2 eastbounds.
First was a CSX eastbound freight which had a mid DPU ET44AH and right after the freight cleared, 5 minutes later another headlight showed up for the 2nd eastbound on the other main, which was Autorack Q254 which by nice surprise had a YN2 AC4400CW & by TOTAL SURPRISE, the CSX NC&Stl Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway Emblem unit AC4400CW #527 trailing 2nd!!
How cool, 2 CSX trains in a short time, + seeing 3 variations of paint schemes, YN2, YN3 & YN3b & one of the CSX Emblem units by surprise!!
