This train is just too good to not pass up posting about.
Yesterday evening, (after over 5 weeks of not going trackside to watch real trains), I ventured up to downtown Madison Ohio to see some mainline train action of CSX & NS. From 5PM to a little before 8PM, I saw 5 trains total. That's not bad for an evening.
Anyway, this train below was on the NS mainline. 2 BNSF's leading an intermodal, (symbol of train is 22K from Chicago IL to Ayer MA). Seeing 2 older paint BNSF's, instead of the swoosh logo, is very rare to see in Ohio. (This paint version in the video below is the 2nd version of their paint, the first version has the dark green line with orange BNSF name on it. Those are very rare to see anymore), But to have Version 2 of this paint, 2 of them together, is very rare to see in Ohio. In the photo below that shows the freight that came not long after on that same track and it had UP. Nice!!

Very cool Tom! Ayer, MA is about a mile from me and I can hear the train horn from here. I’m sure I’m hearing this train some of the time.

Yeah any NS eastbound intermodal I see here in Ohio the location I go to that has just containers go to Ayer. So this same train should of arrive Ayer late yesterday, so if they didn't get a crew for that train to go back west, you might see those 2 same BNSF engines.
