Jeff, you are developing a wonderful scene. There is a lot to see. I especially like how the station sits lower than the platform and track. Excellent work. Thank you! Necessity breeds innovation I suppose. Just not enough space under there. I was sitting there one day and thought, why not build down from the track to make room for scenery.

Jeff this looks great. Thanks for showing the progress as you did it. What do you use for your streets? Who sells the walls? Thanks Bill The walls are probably from scenic express, I don't recall for sure (I'll try to follow up on that), but they are the rubberized flexible ones. I just cut pink foam to the general shape and hot glued the walls on. The roads are just painted mdf at this point. The thought was that most all these elements could be removed, worked on away form the cramped conditions, and replaced. While that is still technically possible, I think I've sort of painted myself into a corner somewhat, so I think I'll be sitting under there working on the streets and town at some point.

Thanks Jeff. I will check with a Scenic Express at York. We will need some the first of the year. I confirmed it was scenic Express, and it's called "'PENNSY' MULTI-SCALE FLEXI-WALL".

Filling in a space on the Banff Springs Hotel scene. This will be a small hill. Cut and shaped Styrofoam then covered with Paster Cloth.

Wood, the triangular hill is looking good even in this unfinished state.

Thanks Jeff. Will get some in York. Wood that is going to complement a scene that is already fantastic. Today we are finishing up a project that has taken about ten days in the ridiculous heat. So today the wind is NE 25 and it is 75 at best. Our son in law has done most of this. The train room is the grey building. This will end having to walk thru dirt and grit that has caused constant clean-up. Paula is happy. I have no idea how to rotate a picture. Attachments:

Bill That walkway looks terrific. Pat that sun-in-law on the back. Paula is going to have a very neat train room.

Bill, the paver work is great.
While most of us have a train room, you have a train building. Very cool!

Please don’t suggest anything else to Paula. Let’s do inside. She will want to know what a garden RR is.
Did get the Legacy system hooked back up today. Couple of turnout problems remain to solve but it was nice to be able to run everything.
Adam it is a converted/added on to garage with most of the garage stuff upstairs. It came out pretty good.

Wow! You guys are talented. This is a great thread.
I'm working with plaster cloth this weekend. Also made a photo-realistic stone wall underground backdrop.
