The OGF Design Team is pleased to introduce the 2022 OGF Club Car. It has been in the works now for several months. When we came up with the design for the spectacular OGF Engine, we knew immediately that we needed a companion car to go with it. Both will come with the matching year 2022 in the graphics.
We selected the Pup Flatbed trailers as they are one of the most popular freight cars among O-Gauge enthusiasts. This model, as is the first two OGF Club Cars, is by MTH. For these models, we are dealing directly with MTH (no middleman). They will come to us in the correct color ready to be decorated. No painting required. For this project, we have engaged a new painter/decorator who has a wonderful reputation for quality and for closely working with any special needs of his clients. He was kind enough to take on the responsibility of finishing the few remaining OGF engines after our former contractor abruptly cancelled his contract with us without any advanced notice. The 2022 OGF Club Cars will most assuredly be completed on time as a result of this important change.
As we always do, we offer our Club Cars/other products at cost. We know of no other organization that serves the OGF community that rewards our members like this. Part of doing it right and putting our members first and not taking a profit. Our graphics for this offering are by far the most detailed ever offered for a Pup Trailer. This detail adds to the cost as well as the application of the graphics. Also, our pricing always includes shipping at a cost far below what a dealer would charge. Our Management Team believes that you will be very happy with your purchase.
Our 2022 OGF Club Cars will go into the production line later this month. We hope to receive them in early August.
They can be ordered now, Click on the SHOP function. Images are now available there.

A new round of SW1200 switchers from MTH, there seems too be a plethora of switchers. Too many? Not enough?

In conjunction this today's announcement of the Lionel 2022 Volume 2 catalog, TCA's METCA Division is excited to announce a LEGACY SD70Ace decorated with the feel of a P51 Mustang, probably the most memorable plane in military aviation history. You can read more about this loco at: metca.org/store.htmlOrdering will be open until the end of August 2022 at which point final quantities will be set. After that, reservations will be subject to availability.

Great offering, Stu!!! I love these defense military offerings, and they go nicely with Lionel’s wings-of-angels boxcars as well as many of the MTH military transport cars carrying tanks, jeeps and rocket launchers.

My nearest LHS is Berwyn’s Toy Trains on Old Route 66 in the western part of Chicago. I seldom get there any more but have been casually following how far the owners have jumped on the custom run bandwagon. I was startled to find that to date they actually have announced 24 MTH custom runs, all diesels, which are cataloged here:
berwynstoytrains.com/product-category/mth-premier-railking-diesel-engine/
The latest is a Premier Genset in the Belt Railway livery, which in terms of local interest is almost as tempting as the EJ&E diesel they are also offering:

OK, if the above P51 Mustang loco ain't your cup of tea (it's pure fantasy), then how about the 100% prototypical Alco RS-11 in the demonstrator paint scheme. Only 20 being made. Order at: metca.org/store.htmlWe've shared the production run with Mr. Muffin. Get unit 701A from METCA or get unit 701B from Mr. Muffin. Both numbers are prototypically accurate. Stu

Well, just to set the record straight, Berwyn Toy and Hobbies has also custom-run steam engines (at least 3 in stock right now), freight cars and passenger cars (primarily CB&Q). I believe the passenger cars are being done by Atlas and should be arriving soon!

If you liked the Union Pacific 100 Ton Plated Hopper, check out this new Santa Fe version from The Train Loft! ... The Train Loft also has a blue Santa Fe bay-window caboose exclusive offering that would bring up the rear of a plated hopper unit train quite nicely. Check it out...

And speaking of exclusive-run bay window cabooses, Trainworld just announced these two US Army-themed cabooses to coordinate with ES44's announced earlier in the year. Whatever you say, 2022 will be THE year of dealer exclusives -- some Lionel, but MANY MTH.
