I'm really enjoying this thread. I spent most of my growing up years in NJ, starting Perth Amboy where I was born. Spent a few years in South Amboy as well. Neat to see train pictures from the past or present from some of the places I knew when I was younger.

Looks like a MUTT and a M38A1 on there with a 57mm AT gun. I missed that show. I used to belong to both the MTA and Whippany Railroad Museum.
They did a great job restoring the Pennsy flatcar.....

Thanks Joe. Great Pennsy vids. Those GG1's are incredible and the mileage they racked is mind boggling. 50 years of service. With modern upgrades I am sure they could still be running today. Just because something is new it doesn't make it better.
