I agree. Lighting and interior modeling is something I really want to try.

The San Diego 3-Railers youth program added these two Lionchief plus locos. Two more are to follow. Nice looking engines! The youth program sounds like a wonderful thing. I joined it when I was 6 and after I turned 18 in 2014, I’m still there. We have in total 5 people that have gone thru the program and become regular members.

Josef, you did a fabulous job on the hotel interior. It adds a lot of interest to the building.

Joe, if somebody makes the light green passenger set I will be grabbing it. I also should have ordered the grey scheme Niagara. Really shows nicely...especially the tender. Gary. Gary, I'm sure you will see the passenger cars eventually. One good thing about being a NYC fan is that it's one of those roads like the PRR and ATSF that has a very large following so there's lots of incentive for manufacturers to make more NYC stuff.
Big internet retailers probably ordered a few extra Niagaras so you still might be able to get one.

Joe, the engines and the cars. I will check York for a grey Niagara. If not I may have to contact that fellow you mentioned a while back about the AT&SF 3000. i haven't forgotten about that one.
Gary.

Nice cars Joe. I like all of them. Did you get your box trucks yet? A brand new freight car and a box truck for $20 is a deal that's very hard to turn down.

Got my Menards order in today. I'm pretty happy about it!!! Nice cars! Menards has really made an impact on this hobby. I love the traditional brands of course, but I also have a healthy collection of affordable Menards cars.

I’m a big fan of the ultra-common post war 6456 hopper cars. PENNSY484 posted a shot of a green one (from a 2013 or 2015 RTR set) on Emile’s green Monday thread which started me on a search. I didn’t find any green ones, but I did find a light grey one produced in 1997. I picked it up for $10 plus shipping. This one is fairly nice. I was expecting plastic trucks riveted to the chassis, but this has diecast trucks which are held on with a Philips head screw. It has fast angle wheels so it tracks well. I added a coal load. Looks good with my other 6456 cars even though the lettering is more modern than the PW cars.

Nice cars Joe S. I have a few of the REA box cars and I like the contrast between the green car and the black catwalk. I don’t have any Menards gons or tankers and was wondering about the trucks. Are they plastic or diecast? If diecast, are they like the ones on the box cars or like those on the 14” flatcars?
