Lots of great looking new train equipment added. The Southern 3rd Rail diesels are very special, Bill.

Joe, that's a nice locomotive. Thanks Joe. I have to try and make a railing for it. A section was missing but I got it for a great price.

We added two Virginian cabooses that Malcolm built. Our experience is that anything he builds is spectacular. My pictures are on my camera, not on this I-pad. A month or so ago we received a Southern E6 ABA from Scott Mann (Sunset). It looks fabulous. Now all that is needed is a set of Tennessean passenger cars. This train used to run on the N and W tracks from Lynchburg to Bristol. Some Lionel work train cars are expected this week from Charles Ro. We may get Harry to make them look well used. They should go well with the N and W crane and boom cars that he transformed. Those a great looking Southern E6's! As a Southern fan, I requested MTH to make Premier Passenger cars for the Tennessean with the shiney chrome plated sides. It hope they will do them in the next catalog! I will say something to MTH at York. Can’t hurt to let them know there is interest. They would look fantastic.

Lionel’s Tool, Bunk, and Kitchen, cars arrived yesterday from Charles Ro. They look nice and are scheduled to go into the weathering shop after York. This almost completes our wreck train and some pieces can be a part of a MOW project. The kitchen car is a sound car that projects freight car sounds when moving and kitchen and camping sounds when still. We have not tried it out yet.

I went to a TCA train show in Orlando yesterday with a couple of Vero Beach Model Railroader friends and I picked up these TOFC sets. While you can't tell by looking there are 2 sets. My FEC modern train got a little bigger.

Nice trailers. My terminal is right next to Sea Land (Maersk).

Joe, I really like that engine. Do you have any specific use in mind?
Is your terminal one for container traffic, trains, or what. We have a lot of container traffic that comes thru since Suffolk is almost the gateway for the Norfolk/Portsmouth port facilities. Your PRR engine would be perfect for port operations.

Here is my addition for this weekend. I finally got around to building my first "Wall-O-Trains" to display and store the growing collection. Had left-over lumber from some other projects and left over tubular track. Couple points of interest. 1. I didn't have spare straight track to mount on the shelves. But, I did have a bunch of older tubular curves sections (O72 I believe) that someone gave to me. I ended up using that, in a snaking fashion (except for the bottom shelf). I find it gives each shelf a bit of interesting depth. 2. The middle and bottom shelves are powered so the cars light up when I turn on the small transformer I had sitting around and collecting dust. 3. You will notice my new Christmas cars and Polar Express set on display (from the top, shelves 3, 4 and 6).

Adam, that's very nice shelving. Great use of some left over lumber.

New member here, so this will not only be a test post but also new item. I have been looking for years for the MTH railking Nebraska corn products boxcar. I finally won one on the bay.
