Out by our horse barn yesterday 9/22/21 near our model railroad business Corner Field Model Railroad Museum & Trading Post Train Shop, I see this on the ground including a baby. Definitely shows the Season is changing when you see a Wooly Bear Caterpillar.

TOM, I have been seeing black ones, brown ones, white one, while on my daily bike 🚴 rides.
JDADDY, one of my favorite songs growing up. Watching our local dance show LOCOMOTION hosted by J CHRISTOPHER. 😎.

Love the wooly's and love the band but dislike the approaching winter. I am a warm weather guy.

Looks like a mild winter ahead according to the Wooly Bear coloring.

thebigcrabcake Stop messing with me. LOL. I would love a mild winter. So much easier on the heating bill. Solar panels help with the electric for AC in the summer but nothing helps with the heating oil bill. It cuts into my train budget if it gets too cold not to mention my old body can't take the cold.

The only problem with mild winters is the wet heavy snow. Hate that type of snow!

I hope it is a mild one. Here in Maryland we have about 6 weeks of ice and snow starting in January. Our Wooly Bears wear shorts year-round.

Hoping for a mild winter. Like Curtis said - my old body and broken bones hate the cold. It was also be great if it is a mild-ish winter since my boiler decided to crap out! Not looking forward to this bill

Looks like a mild winter ahead according to the Wooly Bear coloring. Old folklore. Fun to pass around and talk about, but woolly bear coloring has nothing to do with weather prediction.

I think the Woollybear is at least as accurate as the National Weather Service.
