Yesterday afternoon, Saturday September 18th, at Corner Field Model Railroad Museum & Trading Post Train Shop, we had a guy visit our place with his wife, (which they live locally in the Geauga County Ohio area), which both of them really enjoyed our place, that they brought their PLYMOUTH. Very nice looking car!!

Cars in that era were boats, very comfortable but gas hogs.

We had boats to travel to High School in the late 70's... 7 of us, everyday. We had a '74 LTD...in fecal brown... you could land a plane on it.

Had a '78 Chrysler LeBaron back when, same body type as this - bought it from a pastor who drove it gently....then I noticed it had a factory four-barrel, Lol. Also the A/C was like an Arctic gale....aaaah! Dave

I had a 77 Pontiac Grand Prix, huge car compared to the VW I traded in. Seemed like the hood was 5 feet long.

My boat was a 1983 Pontiac Grand Prix. It got 2 gallons to the mile. When it ran well it had a strong engine. It ran less often than it didn’t run.
Had it for less than a year.

The only 2 large cars I owned were a 67 mustang and a 75 Chevy blazar. The 67 was wrecked front and back. I worked on the repair for a few months and lost interest. Sold it to a parts yard. The 75 was a beast with a built motor. Traded it for a VW bug.
My parents had a very large black station wagon that I drove once in awhile. I can't remember the year or model. The only thing I remember is starting it on school days. You had to set a brick on the accelerator so it would stay running and warm up.
My buddy owned a early 70's Ford LTD. He somehow put it sideways on a back road. We had to have a tractor come and pull it to straighten it back out on the road. He also took out a lamp post at the roller rink, brakes weren't the best. lol
My grandpa owned a 76 Grand Prix with a 400 in it. My uncle would fry the tires all the time.
