I doubt that I am going to get as far afield as I used to, but CornerField and I Love Toy Trains in Indiana, which Denny has mentioned, are possibilities.

Great question, JDaddy!! My list is a little more limited than some I see here. - First, I do plan to go back to Corner Field again.
- Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum in Sugarcreek, Ohio.
- Greenberg Show, Monroeville, Pennsylvania
- York meet
- New Tygart Flyer, Elkins, West Virginia
- Everett Railroad. Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania
- Altoona Train Show
Three states. That's actually not bad. That will take a while.
You live where there is stuff all around. Here, if you go anywhere east, you better have a boat or you will drown. And for trains, there is usually a northern component. You are right, Bill!! We lived in Chesterfield County and Fredericksburg back in the late '70s and '80s, so I know what you mean about living in Tidewater! Come up north any time. There aren't really any train venues in Butler County, Pennsylvania, but let me know if you will be passing through. Oh yes, Avoid the Pennsylvania Turnpike if you can. America's first superhighway is now the world's most expensive highway per mile!!

Seeing I'm restricted in how far we can travel before the wife starts to hurt. I'm hoping to get involved in a train show in Columbia, S.C. and see how much of my extra inventory I can sell. Right now I have 3 rows of containers full of trains/train items, two closets full, And a loft in my shed ( its climate controlled) I have about 10' x 12 of it full. None of this is what I have on shelves. ( well some of there boxes but mainly trains to sell. I kinda went over board. )

Another place I want to visit is to go 'Standin' On A Corner In Winslow, Arizona' and stay at the La Posada Hotel, a former Santa Fe Harvey House, and watch trains (60 to 100 per day) that go by right out front of the hotel on the Santa Fe (now BNSF) Transcon.

Thanks Tom. We have no shortage of real trains. CSX comes thru 4-5 blocks from here and N/S main line less than a mile. The tracks are extremely busy serving the port. It is not unusual at night to hear one go by every 15 minutes, sometimes a shorter time than that
