It doesn't seem possible, but about two years ago three of us became the nucleus of what has become the most dynamic forum serving the O-Gauge community. We saw the need for a friendly platform where members would be the first priority. Wood spent countess hours arranging our finances, doing budgets, and most of all, making sure we were financially secure from the get-go. He is an outstanding Treasurer and provides wise consul whenever needed.
Yes, Wood is certainly an OGF Star, but one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

Thank you all so much. This has been a labor of love.
Without bashing other forums, Brian, Emile and I felt strongly that their was something missing on the web for building a social network of model train enthusiasts. We felt that our sharing of messages needed a site that would approve of and support casual conversation about the life of each of you. That meant keeping an open door to listening to your experiences with trains and your individual lives.
Each of you read posts and by so doing develop a knowledge of who that person is. You just might decide that you would like to become more friendly then, just by reading their posts. By allowing casual conversation we make that even easier. For me personally, I know that members like Adam, Bill Webb and Laz live relatively close to me and when this damn covid business is over I know that we will get together. For those that live distantly like Joe P and others we start email dialogues.
My life is busy, but it is important for me to have friends to share my life with. My friends used to be lawyers because I had so many legal events going on, as life moved on it became doctors because of the health needs. Those people do not share the joys of my life. You, the active members of this forum do.
I am so grateful for the time and generosity of all of you. Let's just keep sharing our love of model trains and enjoy each others company. And, if any of you are traveling to New England this coming year, we have a lovely guest room and a great stone basement filled with trains. You are welcome to visit.
