"Hey Brian…not sure and you might already have this “51 Caddy Woody”…if not, then just giving you an FYI."
No, and what a beauty. Got to go looking for it. Thanks.

Didn't see anything from DANBURY MINT D.C. in 1:43 scale. Price now is $16. Have you heard of this company before? Don

I do remember the 57 Chrysler Crown Imperial that Joe featured in his post, but never gave it the design credit it deserves. Except it got the nickname "the toilet seat cover" trunk lid. In their day the 50's Imperials were an entity all on its own. Nowhere was it labelled a Chrysler even if it did have a family resemblance. All Imperials had a certain amount of customization that made them distinctly different than ordinary assembly line Chryslers. Because other companies terminology lumped their customized offerings, such as the Eldorado being a true member of the Cadillac family, the Imperial is often thought of in the same manner. Much the same in reality as referring to a Roadmaster Buick as a Cadillac. The exclusiveness of Imperial production went hand in hand with their high dollar price tags. As a result, production figures were extremely low, with many one offs like versions of limos. I feel fortunate to have owned a lowly '56 Imperial sedan back when such things were considered just old used cars. I nursed it from Santa Ana to Toronto with a '41 Ford in tow. Two memorable features were it's pair of gunsight like taillight pods and the Lucite air conditioning ducts protruding from the parcel shelf. The latter set up a blast much like being pelted in the back of the head with snowballs. Bruce

PTC, Cabin Fever Auctions say it's larger than O scale but nothing on the box or paperwork say what scale it is. If your interested I'll give you the info. Don

Don, I have this one, so I don't need the other. I bet it is 1:43 scale, though.

A Seagrave Sedan Pumper, a popular truck with the Detroit Fire Department. A Corgi model in 1:50 scale. I plan on a scene with an end door boxcar and the truck being delivered… Tom
