That's what I thought. We have a friend who is 62 and diabetic who has been waiting. My wife told him to fill out the online application and see if he can get an appointment. They say people under 65 with certain risk conditions can go now, but there is nowhere on the application to show it. He looks 65 and they probably will give him the vaccine. I don't have any risk factors other than being 64 1/2, but I don't look close to 65 either. Regardless, I would gladly let people like our friend go ahead of me.

The reason I keep posting about what Pennsylvania is doing is because York is in Pennsylvania, not to say woe are we who live here.

Completely understand, Mark, and we have every reason for concern about your home state's history with covid-19. At some point, hopefully the guy on the street will have some influence as most are fed up with the cocoon.

hopefully the guy on the street will have some influence as most are fed up with the cocoon. There seems to be a lot of "guys on the street" that seem to enjoy wearing masks, as it shows that they are "thoughtful" and "caring" people. It makes them feel "part of the group". I think the resistance will start when all who want the vaccine have it, yet are told to keep wearing masks, keep the "new" 3-ft. distance, and no York-size get-togethers in PA allowed.

Probably a plan is some quarters, but many folks are going to say, "enough is enough". The question is just how many there are to make a difference.

I have had both shots and I have been told to wear the mask. I heard today that the CDC and Dr Fauchi may recommend wearing the mask till 2024 to any large gatherings.
It is almost rock solid that you will have wear a mask at York in October. Get use to it.

As soon as most are vaccinated, the masks should be gone. I saw on the news yesterday some wearing a "nose mask" while dining. How silly.

If I have to wear a mask I won't go either. I don't mind wearing it for a short visit to a store, but there's no way I'm going to sit at my table in the Blue Hall for 3 days straight wearing a mask. I'll miss being at York, but there are other ways to safely enjoy the hobby.

Its the people who will not wear a mask that is going to extend the amount of time we are going to have to wear it. If I have to wear a mask to go to York then I will to protect everybody else. I would appreciate it if others did the same to protect me.

I'm with you Dave, If all us americansl have wore our masks and quit partying and crying, this pandemic would have been done a long time ago. Viet Nam a third world country had one death and been open for business for months now. They can do better than Americans ? And now our numbers are going up again because we let our guard down again.
Heck will never get out of this.
