I know this is not regarding trains, (but hey, maybe the new movie will have some type of trains in it), but being honest I do myself have Godzilla & Kong figures. And back in 2019 we posted a photo on our Facebook Page in to regards about Godzilla King of Monster Movie that came out that year. Well that Trailer below is of the brand new Godzilla vs. Kong that is releasing on HBO Max & Theaters on Friday March 26th, 2021!!! It looks awesome, but it looks Godzilla is going to be our enemy & Kong is going to be our savior. This movie is going to be EPIC!!

Fuyuki Murakami as Professor Tanabe.
Sorry - wrong movie and character. It was a young Raymond Burr.

I loved the 1960’s, version, although watching that now it looks kinda goofy. I always loved Godzilla and Kong movies so I’ll be looking forward to seeing the new version.
Back in the 60s, Revelle, I believe, made plastic Kong and Godzilla models. I had them both and used them on my N scale layout back then. I had Godzilla walking (standing) in the ‘water’ and Kong hanging onto a church steeple. I just removed the Faye Rae figure from his paw and the opening fit perfectly over the steeple point! His feet were in a position to step on a rock, so that foot sat perfectly on the church peaked roof and the other foot rested on the slanted roof, perfectly balanced!
I have no idea what ever happened to them. They were always stored with the trains and were gone when I moved from my parents home. I guess I broke them playing with them during the train ‘off season’.

When I was a kid (age wise) I was scared of Ghidorah!

Got to route for King Kong. Empire State Building famous. The first time I visited the Empire State Building on an 8th grade trip, I asked some important looking guy inside the building “Which side of the building did King Kong fall off of?” He just chuckled without an answer. To this day it’s a mystery!
