This is awesome!! I have both these same exact locomotives on Corner Field Model Railroad Museum. So LOL, either or for who wins, I'll have a video!! But oh yeah, I did vote.

The Hudson generally certainly has a claim to Lionel classic status, especially in this VL version. The Y6B is, er, semi-interesting to look at, or at least it was the only time I saw the model, which was at York.
And we are comparing models here, not the prototypes they represent.
I didn’t support either of these models when they won and accordingly I have cast my vote on a completely objective basis.

I voted for the Hudson. Not a big Hudson fan, but we ATSF 3000 fans are angry over last year .

Well one thing about both these locomotives, the whistles they have are totally spot on correct!!! Thank you, Tom, for that positive intervention. Neither whistle does anything for me compared to other steamers that will temporarily remain nameless.

This is going to be a bloody battle and a nail biter all the way to the end. The 700 got my vote.

Back in 2019 I rode the Hudson all the way to the end but this time I gave my blessing to the Y6B.

I did my civic duty and cast my vote. As models neither holds any interest for me, however, in the real world I consider New York Central Hudsons to be among the most beautiful steam locomotives to rule the rails.😊
