The Fall 2020 O-Gauge Forum York Dinner is scheduled to take place 1 month from today and I’m happy to say that it is ON…line.
No Mask needed. No social distancing. No temperature check.
Just Dinner with friends.
The Inaugural O-Gauge Forum Zoom Dinner Party will be held at 6:00PM (EDT) on Thursday, October 22, 2020 on The World Wide Web.
Everyone is invited, bring the spouses too like normal.
Dinner is scheduled for about 1 hour and if anyone needs to leave early that’s fine just like the real dinner. Everyone will make their own dinner and we will all eat together in front of our computers, tablets or smart phones during a Zoom session.
After a brief greeting we will begin the Dinner by having everyone introduce themselves and their “Plus 1”, if any and say where in the World they are and show what they made for dinner and why they chose that dinner. (We’re having Crab Cakes)
This will be followed by Dinner and casual conversation.
At the end we will ask everyone to state 3 words that describe the Dinner and then we will sign off.
It’s guaranteed to be a lot of fun.
Our Resident Zoom Expert Adam will walk you through the Zoom meeting process ahead of time if it’s your first time (Just send him a private message) and I’m sure you’ll find it is very easy to navigate.

This will be fun. Can we have dinner on our train layout? Haha. It will be fun to meet your spouse/mate and family. I am looking forward to this event. Join in now.

What a terrific idea. Who says we can't bring the events surrounding the York Meet to our members.
We're in.

Sounds like a great idea! I am in.
Now, fair warning, you will all get to see my poor and sloppy dining habits that my wife constantly reminds me that I possess.

Sounds like a fun time. I've certainly missed getting together for a meal with my train friends at York. Hopefully I'll be able to make my schedule work so I can attend.

Is this a formal affair? If so, I need to get my dinner jacket dry cleaned. LOL!

Fun idea. We plan to be there and will enjoy a catered dinner by George’s.

Should we have our fine scotch and a cigar ready for afterwards? Will there be dancing?

You may be a little overdressed Adam, but I do like the attire.
