Last week I was banned from ogr and now I have been reinstated saying it was all a mistake by the computer program. Whether true or not does not make me feel better about the whole episode.
I'm here at ogf for the long haul.

That OGR site is so cold. Lots of posts but lacks personality. I look there to get tech info and that’s about it anymore.
David, like a Track Forman Said to me Once, long ago, when I was demoted from Conductor down to the track gang on a railroad I worked for, “You are always welcome in our house”...

The oddest thing I noticed and heard, was that a certain upset at OGR person left OGR and went to another Forum and had many follow him. Also kept conversation on why he left, then suddenly about a month ago after several year, came back to OGR.

Walter, there are folks out there that crave attention. Perhaps the forum that an individual typically hangs out has had such a loss in participation, crow may be the only choice on the menu.

Had to go back for all his toadies.

From The Order of the Purple Defenders, to being maligned for asking what they interpret is a stupid question. Even the most popular of socially inspired topics being strictly censored into never straying from the subject of trains. It's time to exercise some of my own cancel culture that they seem to freely dish out.

There is lots of activity on the OGR forum but it's as unfriendly as could be. It seems to me to be very cold and unwelcoming. My account there was deactivated a while back. Not a computer glitch. I am a persona non grata there. I have no idea why and don't particularly care, though they do send me an occasional email trying to get me to buy their crappy magazine.
Editorial note: My post above is my opinion. OGF members are free to participate in other model railroad forums if they so desire.
