What a terrific choice for this week's thread, Joe. The 50's Pontiac's had style and some wonderful extra touches. You should be proud of this model as it is a wonderful representation of the 50's Pontiac.  |

During my college years in the 90s I had an early 80s Grand Prix for a while (one of three clunkers that got me through those years). I had a strong love hate relationship with that car. When it ran, it ran well. Comfortable, good power, smooth and fast. Unfortunately, that was only about half the time. Being a poor college kid I didn't have the money to fix it up and ended up selling it for the equivalent of beer money. Here is what she looked like. This is not a picture of mine, but a close example.  When we talk about Pontiac's, this is the one that I have always dreamed of owning. The Firebird is stuff of legend!  |
