I agree with all of the above. Model trainin' is good therapy. Only sometimes it can cause a little temporary stress. This morning when my UP 4-6-2 stalled around a curve, having just hooked up to a string of cars on the siding, making a pretty long train, I examined the locomotive and found that it had no traction tires. So, I checked its box underneath the layout and found a pack of 4 in it. Thank goodness. So, not wanting to take the locomotive apart, I removed only the bolt on the rear driver and managed to squeeze them in with a very small blade screwdriver, one on each side, replaced the bolt, and presto, fixed. It was a relief not having to remove the boiler from the chassis and now it can pull a long train around 036 curves without a whimper. Why, it made my day! Good therapy. 😉

Like when all 8, over time, my MTH PS 2 engines with 5 volt boards died over a 2 year period and wondering when the next one would die. But having a source for replacing the boards with the 3/2 boards at a reasonable cost and now no longer having any with the 5 volt boards. The stress from worrying has been replaced with reliability and enjoying. I have never had a problem with any PS 3 nor Legacy or TMCC engines. I always felt it was odd that an engine would perform flawlessly the night before, then next morning it was dead as a door nail.

With all the evil doings in the country right now it's nice to go into the train room where my biggest issue is having to decide if I want to run passenger or freight trains or maybe both, or maybe I want to build some trees or work on the scenery. All of my O Gauge people respect law enforcement, love their Country and it's flag, and are planning to erect a historical monument of some great American like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln or U. S. Grant. They are also patiently waiting for the President's ES44 and caboose to arrive and make it's inaugural trip around the A&JB. Yes, it's very good therapy.
