"1955 Chevrolet Nomad BRK26, Coral body and a white top"Happy ending, found something for Paula that is very similar, but a much nicer model in the colors she wanted. I am sure Bill will post photos when it arrives.

PTC knows his stuff if you are interested in vehicles, especially nice ones.
He is a tremendous help to us in so many ways. We know little about vehicles and are learning.
This is a crazy week with a lot going on. We will probably post some vehicle pictures the first of next week.

This morning at breakfast, Elizabeth pointed out a painting hanging in the kitchen. In this "train" painting a 1949 Buick Roadmaster is depicted. She asked me if we had this car on the layout. I said no, so she added you need to find one. Below is the artwork, a close-up of the Buick, and the real McCoy. I have my task for today cut out for me.

And a stinking C T red truck around the side with a tree in it, and, you on the sleigh.
Is that where you got the idea?
Good luck in the search. This scene is an absolute must for the layout.

May have found it. Just have to have the seller verify the scale.

"canny subliminal advertising by American hero of enterprise C T Balsam."
You have it correct, Andy. I like the American Hero part. Bill Webb will love this comment.

C T makes Donald Trump look like a pauper. And he doesn’t tweet. In C T's New York City tweeting is only done by birds. That other kind of tweeting hasn't been invented yet. And Donald Trump is a little boy dreaming of playing big league baseball and wondering how politicians could be so inept.

Joe, CT is the great American success story. Took over a good business from his Dad and built it into one of the City's most successful businesses.
Not only that, Bill's wife Paula has become a huge CT fan.
