Adam, Living in Harrisburg, I can tell you that UNFORTUNATELY state stores (liquor) were NOT initially considered essential during the shutdown. So we Pennsylvanians bore the brunt of Covid AND had to be sober about it... I watched my booze supply dwindle and was starting to get pretty desperate. FINALLY (today) state stores were allowed to open in Yellow phase counties (York and Cumberland), and I was able to restock. The store I visited was doing a brisk business at noon, so you know there was some pent up demand being released there. MAYBE, now with a little EtOH on board, we can all take a deep breath and relax... Price Sorry to hear that Price. I’m certainly not a big drinker but the occasional glass of wine or had cider has helped easy the stress of the lockdown. Glad to hear that you were able to restock.

I believe most (if not all) of us are considered "high risk." In that category there is a much higher mortality rate than the general population. However, some of the draconian measures being enacted don't feel right to me. Arresting, or even beating people, for not wearing a mask smacks of a police state.

Our unpopular governor in Lansing Mi. just extended the stay at home order till June 12 for lower Mi. She too has revoked license's of those that tried to stay open. A female Democrat judge told her it was legal. The ruling was expected and will move to the state supreme court. Some can open now but still no barbers or hair salons. I'm sure RTC will prevail as our rights have been taken from us.

I hope the Round the Clock Diner takes this to a court that cannot be influenced by taste authorities backed by the Governor. Enough is enough.

Not surprised. I’m hoping they do prevail. What’s happening is unbelievable.

I really hope the diner prevails, but it's my understanding (from Comrade Wolf himself) that the PA Supreme Court has upheld his use of executive powers. Maybe that's another rat's nest that needs to be cleaned out. That court hasn't exactly been slavish to the law as written. E.g. their rewriting of voting districts when they didn't like what the Legislature came up with. That was a clear violation of the separation of powers. George

Probably going to wind up in the big court that will set this right for all jurisdictions.

You guys in Michigan need some good lawyers. The witch with a B is beyond belief.
It is time to ignore her and simply open things up. I saw Michigan’s numbers today and she is nuts. But she has a big inflated ego that needs to be deflated like a balloon and a pin.
You residents need to have at it.

She is on Biden's short list for VP. That's why she is making waves for publicity.

She is on Biden's short list for VP. That's why she is making waves for publicity. Exactly. What does that tell you about the state of certain states and those who run them?
