This K-Line Observation car screams silver. So does this Lionel observation car. Both cars are polished metal and you really can't beat that - too bad nobody produces them any more. But here's another silver streak; The GGD Silver Meteor observation car (painted finish):

This is a magazine quality photo, Wood. Send it to CTT. Thanks Brian. For some reason I never send these pictures off to Classic Toy Train. We should talk about that. And now, here is my Observation Car Silver

I'm probably the oddball but I like the painted finish better than the polished aluminum. It just looks better to my eyes.

This is a magazine quality photo, Wood. Send it to CTT. Thanks Brian. For some reason I never send these pictures off to Classic Toy Train. We should talk about that. And now, here is my Observation Car Silver Love these. Somehow, they look very familiar. And by the way, I agree with Brian, Wood. It's not easy to take a good panoramic shot. But this one is exceptional and your two gleaming Santa Fe Super Chiefs really stand out. It's a beautiful photo, so sent it in to CTT.

Another beautiful post card picture. Thanks. Lionel did a nice job with this one. I'm delighted to say I agree. Although I have not seen one of these models in person, I can imagine it doing fantasy excursion duty pulling a full set of Lionel NYC Superliners. BTW, until you said it was Lionel, I just assumed it was one of the MTH versions - I didn't actually look to see the IR connection between engine and tender.

That is an absolutely classic Firebird. Next best thing to a 'Vette (or Camaro)!

Yes, Dave, stunning! Great shot of the Super Chiefs and your layout in general... Here is my failed silver color car....not very silver... Tom Tom, that tanker is not a failure at all!!! Make the top of the piece look like the bottom and I would say you will end up with an awesome looking aged tanker!! Gary.
