I did, not sure how much longer I will before I take it down and build new, I sort of dread taking it down because I don't know how long it will be before I start a new layout once it is down

Yep, had a good run after work, changed out the trains on three of the loops.
I ran my Pocahontas set 611 with the 4 car aluminum set, plus the Powhatan Arrow Station Sounds dining car. The loco has great sound and smoke, rides nice, has led lighting, Legacy, the cars are real nice too. Pleasure to run, using the Train Link on the Cab 2 to switch toggle between the loco and the dining car, it adds a lot of fun to the run.

I wish I had a layout to run! I did run 5 passenger trains at work tonight. 1:1 scale! Lol. Somehow I think O scale would be more fun to operate... Tom

I run every day. Early mornings or after supper. The problems of the world are put on hold and for a brief time, the layout brings back the time and memories of a better time. My layout is like a Time Machine, a time and place I wish to be. That is why Model Railroading means so much to me.

For sure, today was on the Polar Express side of the layout. That Gold Edition Berkshire is wonderful to watch.

Even though my layout isn't in operation at this time. I've been trying to get down there every Saturday and Sunday to tinker on something. Sometimes even a Friday gets thrown in. The Fridays and days I'm not at work are more common lately with the lockdown going on. I treated the wife to a locke in date yesterday. So no train time.

Joe you might wanna look at modifying what you have set up vs a total rebuild. Then again you might want to jump into the rebuild. I would draw out the area you have and draw up some plans and see if it would be worth the rebuild. I'm in the middle of my rebuild. I am happy with it but I still have times I wish I would have just modyfied my old layout.

NO I didn't twas a perfect time but I didn't. Our cable bundle went out in the afternoon and was still out when I went to bed. People trying to work from home were out of luck. However I DID catch up on reading my train rags. Late evening I played golf with Tiger Woods till bed time. S.J.

I see no need to take it down and rebuild. I'd love to see more of it.

I would like to have a train room, I have other things I plan on doing when its down, been over 13 years since duct work was cleaned, wrap all the pipes ect.. I was just going to keep adding scenery and add Amtrak items to the top track but then I joined forums and saw what other people did . The one thing I'm going to improve on are my streets, I have gotten quite a few ideas from different members. I really like Country Joes layout. It would be better in the long run to start another layout, there are some new items that I would like to get, be easier to add them to a new layout.

No... painted roundhouse rear walls. Little over half finished. It’s less fun than you think it would be.

I run trains about 4 days per week, but usually do something related to the layout almost every day. Today OGF Live was my train fix. It was nice day outside so spend a out of it outdoors.
