Layout is built but it’s all that other stuff, ballast, bushes , trees, dirt, streets, that I gotta get to one of these days? I think you have enough dirt and bushes in that badda bing area!

Currently at #2
Spooky Town is about done, Christmas Village is in progress and Main Street is in the planning stage.
Like everything - I need time to work on it - working at Mom's and making sure she is ok I rarely have time as of late to see my trains let alone run 'em
Spooky Town is Halloween/Fall Christmas Village is Christmas/Winter Main Street is Spring Summer
AND you will see NO Chevy's on my layout - maybe a Ford or two - strictly MoPar City.....
No chevy's, only moparts and a ford or 2, hope you also have a tow truck on your layout
Nah, we don't need tow trucks, well, maybe for the Fords.......lol

1964 Chrysler Turbine Convertible 1955 Chrysler 300 Convertible Just a couple of the MoPars on the layout - You can just make out the 1970 Challenger Super Stock in the background Just to keep it train related, here is Dom Torretto's 1970 440 6 BBL roadrunner in front of the Powhaten Arrow....This is all on the Christmas Village side of the layout. These will all be going to the Main Street part when it is constructed

Anjdevil2, you have superb taste in model cars. I have several Chrysler models on our layout as well. The Dodge pictured above is a new additon.
Thanks for posting.

I’m at stage 2 for sure. And I have A LOT to build, but that’s the fun part, why rush? At least eight more structures, a bunch of scenery, and other finishing touches. Hey Brian, you can add another category for operations. And while you’re running trains, you can think up ways to improve or redesign what you have! The never ending cycle of a layout. Not many activities afford you such opportunities 😁

Just for fun, I looked this 19-minute 3 Stooges short up on YouTube and watched it. Aside from their usual slapstick antics, it was fun seeing the interior of the old Pullman car with its curtained upper and lower births and imagining what overnight train travel must have been like back in the day. Another movie that came to mind was “Some Like it Hot,” when the band is traveling from Chicago to Miami (but was really the hotel Del Coronado, San Diego). Now that was hilarious.

I remember sprinting all the way home to make it to see the 3 stooges on tv from 3 to 4 pm. the first two on the hour were Curly, the last Shemp or Curley Joe... not so good. The scary ones were the best...
