It's definitely great fun, especially at this time of total distraction being needed, and thanks from me and I am sure everybody else for doing the work, Emile.

Good job Emile. I apologize for all the things that were said, insinuated, or were even the truth. Thanks for doing this. It is fun. Tomorrow may get hot and heavy. The lone N and W engine, the Y6B goes against the Hudson. It's all in the game. I know you have a Dog in the Hunt tomorrow with the Y6B. I like that one a lot too. Good luck. Emile

Under the current circumstances with Emile are we going to put the tournament on hold? No. The Tournament resumes as scheduled this Thursday with the first 2 Elite 8 matches. I could use the distraction. Emile

With the first round in the books, there’s just enough time to catch your breath and plan your strategy before O-Gauge Forum Train Tournament action resumes this Thursday.
First up are matches in the West and South as the (4)Western HobbyCraft Trolley tries to continue it’s Cinderella story against the (2)Lionel N&W 2-8-8-2 Y6B and the (1)Lionel TMCC Santa Fe F3 goes up against the (2)Lionel VL AT&SF 2-10-10-2.
Friday will see matches in the East and Mid-West between the (1) Lionel VL Niagara Grey and the (3)MTH Union Pacific Coal Turbine as well as the (1) 44 TONNER and the (3)MTH Rocky Mountaineer GP-40.
The Final Four will compete this Saturday and a Champion will be crowned on Sunday.

Thank you so much Emile for taking care of this. Ditto. I think my bracket is a shambles but I'll be ready to soldier on when this re-starts.

Some upsets in the 1st round that make the 2nd round even more interesting. What a terrific idea for a train forum.
We have "the beef".

We didn’t get the brackets done but we have three favorites, Y6B, MTH Turbine, and Rocky Mountaineer, in the hunt. Will also vote for the Santa Fe F3 because I fear that the 2-10-10-2 might beat the Y6B. Preventive voting is encouraged.
