Good evening all! I'm wondering if any of you folks know the proper way to change the pickup rollers on a Plymouth switcher. Not sure if I should try to remove the pin thru the center of the roller or change the whole assembly.

Good reason. Do you use Super O track with the narrow center rail.

Good reason. Do you use Super O track with the narrow center rail. That's a misconception. The reason for middle wear out is not proper maintenance and not using a electric conductible lube I ran Super O with no problems for years with no problem, I've also have seen where O27 has cut a roller in two. The problem the roller get a drag to it, but still rolls.

Well RT yes and no. When that track was made in the fifties, the rollers did cut in half. Modern rollers must be made of a different material as they do last longer.

Good reason. Do you use Super O track with the narrow center rail. No Lionel Fastrack. I bought this on the bay for parts for my PRR version and noticed the rollers were worn.
