My credit card alert indicated a charge from Legacy Station... and from the amount charged, it appears to be THIS...
Another magnificent Lionel custom-run by Legacy Station. And yes... the color looks wonderful.  Can't wait to see it in-person.

I have the second edition of the Space Force SD70 ace, Space Force caboose already and the four tank cars are on their way to my house. And yes, I do want a Space Force Vision Line hudson! It makes no sense, but it would look really cool!

The credit card text msg alerts were popping like fireworks in the night sky this morning (Monday)!!!
From what I can determine, it appears the Halloween woodside passenger cars, P/E specialty freight cars and the AEC “glow-in-the-dark” SuperBass add-on unit are all hitting store inventories now. And the dealers are understandably shipping them right out the door to consumers instantly. Gotta be a wild and crazy time in the shipping departments!!!
Looks like the AEC set, however, won’t be shipping until mid-December. And the scale P/E Set is gonna cut it close to Christmas. And somewhere in the next few weeks will be the F-19’s… plus H7’s likely THIS week. We’re gonna get SLAMMED!!!

Dang!!! They can't stop... they just WON'T stop... Custom-Run Fever that is. And it's worse than Atlas-O "reefer madness" that was running rampant decades ago. MUCH WORSE!!! This time, the fever will literally run us to the poor house and take no prisoners in the process. Freakin' unbelievable!!! The Train Loft's latest email blast featuring many of this year's custom-run offerings includes the first photos of the store's H7 custom-run in the ABSOLUTELY STELLAR Chessie "greenbriar" paint-scheme. The H7 detail literally jumps out of the photo with this paint scheme. Here's one of Jeff's photos from the email blast. The plastic of my train credit card just melted inside my wallet.

Yes... that's the first of TWO H-7 custom-runs that The Train Loft did in 2024. It was announced earlier this year... done up in the spirit of last year's Vision Line D&RGW Big Boy which sold out quickly. Since I grabbed that Big Boy, I'm passing on this H-7... but might have jumped on it, if it were a D&RGW L-131 paint scheme (i.e., as an H-7). But this gives folks another chance at their Big Boy paint-scheme.
HOWEVER... After seeing photos of The Train Loft's "Chessie" H-7 (see above post), I'm seriously thinking about that one. But there's SO MUCH stuff hitting now... it's unbelievable these goodies couldn't have been spaced out throughout the year to make the medicine go down a bit easier. This always seems to happen though.
Practically speaking... my wallet doesn't want me to even glance at the 2025 catalog!!!
